Bob, a freemason from Northamptonshire & Huntingdonshire, volunteered for 15 years at Daventry Area Community Transport (DACT) – a charity which supports older members of the community through various transport and mobility services.
In 2017, DACT was nominated for an MCF Community Award, and received a grant of £15,000, which helped to fund their new bus.
Bob is now a full-time carer for his wife so he isn’t able to keep up with regular volunteering, but we brought him back for just one more day to see how our support has made a difference to his friends at DACT.
